Most of the dishes are prepared in our "wood burning oven." The cuisine is French inspired, keeping simplicity in mind. Special care during preparation enhances the ingredients, allowing them to show off their natural flavors.

Paola's Wine Bar showcases a wine-by-the-glass program. One hundred wines are rotated with 30 offered each month, one wine each day to highlight great wines from around the world.

Durant's
2611 N Central Ave
Phoenix, AZ 85004
602-264-5967
To keep the comings and goings of its more infamous guests secret, diners have entered through the kitchen since 1950. Today, the swinging doors are portals into another era where tycoons sup next to socialites and retirees. Entrees come in gargantuan, dry-aged mesquite-broiled portions--accompanied by lobster tail or Florida stone crab (in season), and calf and chicken livers are a specialty. Linger over a trio of cremes brulee or the house-signature cheesecake
Postino
3939 E Campbell Ave
Phoenix, AZ 85018
602-852-3939
Housed in the former Arcadia post office, Postino has the chic but cozy good looks of a Crate & Barrel ad. This friendly wine bar (still outfitted with massive sliding doors from its postal incarnation) has everything going for it: a short but sophisticated wine list, wine-friendly snacks and the kind of comfortable atmosphere that encourages lingering over a heart-felt conversation and a bottle of something elegant.
Ruth's Chris Steak House
2201 E Camelback Rd
Phoenix, AZ 85016
602-957-9600

The Ruth's Chris Steak: This is the place that showed the world how great a steak can be. Carefully selected and aged for tenderness. Cut thick to ensure juiciness. Seared to perfection at 1800 degrees. Seasoned simply with salt, black pepper and a touch of parsley, because a steak like this needs nothing else. Topped with fresh butter that sizzles seductively on your plate, announcing the arrival of a great steak.

T. Cook's
5200 E Camelback Rd
Royal Palms Resort
Phoenix, AZ 85018
602-808-0766
Recently voted #1 Phoenix restaurant by Zagat's Top US Hotel and Restaurant Guide, T. Cook's has received the highest ratings from both national food critics and locals for its select seasonal dishes, fire-roasted specialties and elegant surroundings.
